“PO” Folks Underground Movement
Last night (MAY 2, 2025) at or around 10:00 p.m., Anita received a phone call from several individuals who were “HOMELESS” in Branson. Those individuals (6) in total are now “HOMELESS” in Springfield.
Anita immediately reached out to other individuals in Springfield, to seek housing and food for these people as several were older ladies.
Today, May 3, 2025, Anita questioned one of the individuals as to;
ANITA: HOW DID YOU GUYS GET HERE, LIKE WHO BROUGHT YOU?
FEMALE: WE CALLED A “CHURCH” IN BRANSON AND TOLD THEM WE WANT TO GO TO WHERE YOU ARE IN SPRINGFIELD BECAUSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HELP US.
ANITA: HONEY, I DON’T HAVE THE RESOURCES HERE, AND THIS IS NOT A GOOD TIME FOR YOU GUYS BEING HERE BECAUSE WE JUST HAD A BAD STORM, AND THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO LIVE HERE THAT NEED ASSISTANCE RIGHT NOW.
FEMALE: WE WERE TOLD THAT SOME PEOPLE STAY IN PEOPLE’S BACKYARD.
ANITA: I CANNOT HAVE ANYONE STAYING ON OUR PROPERTY. LET ME SEE WHAT I CAN DO, THIS IS WEIRD, AND SO WRONG. ANYWAY, WHERE DID YOU GET DROPPED OFF AND WHO BROUGHT YOU HERE?
FEMALE: WE HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE PERSON FROM THE CHURCH GOT OFF WORK. AND HE GOT OFF AT 9:30 p.m. HE DROPPED US OFF AT CASEY’S.
ANITA: OKAY, LET ME SEE WHAT I CAN DO.
Now, as I sit and hear this conversation, I begin to visualize in my mind a new type of “UNDERGROUND” movement, this time “ENTITIES” are moving “PO” homeless folks to “OTHER” city limits. Currently, there are roughly about 20 “HOMELESS” people and/or families that have relocated to Springfield to be near Anita for assistance.
As many of you are aware, “ESPECIALLY” in Branson, that Anita and the “BRANSON OUTREACH WARRIORS (AKA) BRANSON FACEBOOK WARRIORS are constantly busy “ASSISTING” those individuals the city have pushed around and aside. These individuals have found themselves placed inside the “BRANSON” “HOTEL HOLE” “PINBALL MACHINE” game, as it’s difficult to get out, once in.
I believe that the “CHURCH” who transported these kind “HOMELESS” people to “SPRINGFIELD” without notice, should have taken “ALL” necessary steps to “PROTECT” these individuals. That, of course, is what “I” thought Churches do.
****HOW SO, HOW COULD THAT BE POSSIBLE****
STEP 1: “Could Have” – Contacted the Branson Outreach Warriors, “BEFOREHAND” and gave them an opportunity to prepare.
STEP 2: “Could Have” – Reached out to “SPRINGFIELD ENTITIES” to see if any services were available. Understanding that we just went through a severe storm here in Springfield in which we were without electricity for almost 2 days.
STEP 3: “Could Have” – Informed these “HOMELESS” individuals to stay in Branson as the weekend is upon us. That would have afforded “THE CHURCH” more time to seek out answers and “HUMAN” services for these individuals.
So, now that we have passed the “COULD HAVE” we have several individuals who were just “LAST” night “HOMELESS IN BRANSON” now due to the Church efforts, “HOMELESS IN SPRINGFIELD” on May 3, 2025.
It appears to me that a new kind of “MOVEMENT” is happening, as Branson is looking to “RELOCATE” “HOMELESS” “PO FOLKS” “IN THE DARK” – WEEKENDS INCLUDED.
****JUST SO YOU KNOW****
There have been several occasions where the Branson Outreach Warriors have participated in moving people “OUT” of Branson. Those incidents only occurred with intent to send individuals and families back to their “HOME” whether it be a city in Missouri, or another State.
Branson Outreach Warriors sent those “PEOPLE” back to their families, and friends, “NOT” to the “CASEY’S” storefront. Most individuals come to Branson to work and leave ‘BROKE” and/or “HOMELESS.”
I want everyone who reads this blog to understand, especially if you are “THE WORKING PO, AND BELOW” living in Branson’s city limits, the importance of “VOTING.”
I promise you that the next election will look different. People are sitting in positions with only a “HANDFUL” of votes.
NEXT VOTING SEASON, “TOGETHER, US “PO” FOLKS ARE GOING TO DELIVER THE CITY OF BRANSON A MOUNTAIN OF VOTES. SOMETHING A “HANDFUL” CAN’T CONTROL.
