EVICTIONS REPRESENT UNCERTAINTY FOR LOW-INCOME STRUGGLING FAMILIES

What Up Poor Folks
A FIGHT FOR FAIRNESS

Right now in Branson hotels holes are “EVICTING” families. Most are being discarded simply because the cost for “SIMPLE” living is out of control. Especially for those low-income families.

Most places you contact in Branson have what they call ” A Waiting List.” Some of these lists are one year out, and even further.

To make matters worse, the “LOW-INCOME” agencies that are in place to help assist low-income families, always communicate to these families that funding is on the way.

So, when people say, “help and funding is on the way,” what does that mean in Branson? Because in the meantime, families in Branson are forced to live in “storage units” or in the woods after being evicted. I know this to be a fact because I’ve witnessed it. Anita, delivers “TENTS” to these families.

Then, the most vulnerable people who are “RARELY” mentioned, (CHILDREN), are now subjected to miss school, which will inhibit their education, and the ability to have “A” meal, that in some children cases are the only meal they will have that day. While having to sleep in “UNFAMILIAR” places.

Every year, according to the “Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences” (https://www.pnas.org/) eviction filings involve and affect 2.9 million children.

It is sad when Anita and I see with our own eyes, families walking down the street with bags under their arms and children by their side looking back at the hotel hole they were evicted from.

PO” people who are already living with pain because of their income and living conditions, become more depressed, angry, and frustrated when they are forced to dwell like nomadic animals.

Now, here is the biggest “QUESTION” coming Branson’s board members way. When that cold winter weather hits, (and it will), is the city prepared to “SAVE THE LIVES” of those same little “INNOCENT” children, whom were “FORCED” to the streets -AND- woods with their parents due to the cost for “BASIC” living being unreachable for most people living on SSI in Branson?

The cost for these “NASTY” hotel holes take up the “MAJORITY” of their check. Average hotel hole runs about $800 per month and SSI pays about $940 per month. Now, you do the math.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TINY HOMES THAT ANITA AND I SIGNED UP FOR ALMOST 4 SEASONS AGO? I BELIEVE THE RENT FOR THESE UNIT WOULD HAVE BEEN AROUND $300 – $400 PER MONTH, WHICH WOULD GIVE A STRUGGLING FAMILY A “FIGHTING” CHANCE.

Instead, some of these Branson Board members are allowing and approving this type of “PREYING” on “PO” folks by allowing “CONVERSIONS” of these ancient, nasty, hotel holes to “QUALIFY” as an apartment. By doing so, “PO” folks rent goes “WAY” up, WHILE BEING MISLED.

–AGAIN, LET ME EXPLAIN–

$800 per month rent, -AND- SSI pays about $940 per month.

EVEN TO FURTHER THE PAIN, IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN “3-HEART BEATS” IN YOUR FAMILY (INCLUDING PETS), YOU ARE “FORCED” ACCORDING TO THE “NEW RULES” TO RENT “2 NASTY HOTEL HOLES.”

= $1,600 per month rent, and you need to have another family member with SSI or a job to pay for the second hotel hole. 2-HOTEL HOLES FOR A FAMILY OF “3” WITH A “PET”. (= 4 HEART BEATS)

BIGGEST RIP OFF IN HOTEL HOLE HISTORY.

If you are forced to live on the streets, and hungry, and possibly “NEED A TENT,” contact the Branson Outreach Warriors as they do not judge you.
