SULLIVAN CITY RULES
Yesterday things went really well, BETTER than I had expected. I hope everyone who purchased yesterday enjoy their DEALZ. Today will be “BIGGER.” DEALZ.
Yesterday “Facebook” had to shut down the conversations we were having based on a few people displaying their thoughts on the situation in Sullivan, MO. I Get it.
Here is the deal. I don’t want anyone to be upset to the point that we are arguing over “SILLY” stuff. I have followed every “SIMPLE” minded STEP/RULE that the city have thrown at me since the inception of Householddealz.com in May 2021. I have been respectful and polite to everyone. I have been told by “EVERY” official that I have spoken to in the past that “You are doing everything right.” But in the same breath every time I have had a “YARD SALE” the city enforcer shows up to inform me of these continuous changing rules. SO AM I DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT? or, IS THAT JUST THE WAY THE CITY ENFORCER CONDUCTS BUSINESS. APOLOGETIC BUT LYING? YOU TELL ME.
To be honest, I don’t think anyone is fully aware of the laws in this city as the laws are changing “abruptly” on a daily basis. I DON’T KNOW, MAYBE THE RULES ARE CHANGING BASED ON HOUSEHOLDDEALZ YARD SALES.
Back to Facebook. Everything deteriorated after a gentlemen stated what he felt. It is possible that he could have been a city worker, I DON’T know. He talked about me NOT willing nor wanting to pay taxes.
Just so everyone knows: MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE PAID TAXES EACH YEAR OF THE 26-YEARS WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER, SO YOU TELL ME, WHY SHOULD I STOP PAYING TAXES NOW? CHECK WITH IRS IF YOU SO CHOOSE.
Here is what I want everyone to know. My husband and I have been together 26 years and in those 26 years our children were raised in the county, they graduated from county schools. So, when people talk about county people. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE RIGHT AT HOME “IN THE COUNTY.”
The bottom line is this; In May 2021, I entered into the Sullivan, MO City Hall office and set with an elderly lady who was to guide me through the process of obtaining “Business License.” Between the head office in Jefferson City, MO and the local office in Sullivan, MO I have yet to receive the license. Now, I don’t know what the hold-up is, as I have been told they were mailed “2-times” (TWICE) to me, but I have yet to see the license. This last call I received from the Business License department in Jefferson City, MO 2-WEEKS AGO, related to me that “Your license is on the way and you will not be charged as it was OUR mistake that made this process take longer than it should.” THE MISTAKE; WE “fat-fingered” the wrong information. We had you listed as a “NON-PROFIT” BUSINESS.
I don’t have a criminal history or criminal background. So, you tell me, what it is I am to do. I am at the “MERCY” of the City Financial Business office in Sullivan and Jefferson City, MO.
Every sale that I make is invoiced and ready for transmission when the time comes to my CPA as I will be looking for a personal CPA soon. They will have one of the easiest tasks in the world when it comes to my paperwork. It will be laid out from top to bottom page for whomever I choose to work with me.
I state this because that statement made by that young man should have been looked into before considering me as a fraudster.
“I am” going to pay taxes for everyone who purchased from me. I not requiring people who purchase from me to pay taxes on anything I sale them.
So, to that gentleman who “knows” the law in Sullivan, MO. better than anyone. Since I feel you have in-depth knowledge of how the local community of Sullivan operates, CAN YOU PLEASE CALL THE LOCAL OFFICE ON MONDAY TO SEE WHERE ARE MY LICENSE THAT WAS “SUPPOSEDLY” MAILED TO ME A FEW WEEK BACK. AND IF THAT DON’T WORK, PLEASE CONTACT THE “JEFFERSON CITY” OFFICE AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN SHARE WITH YOU.
I’VE BEEN TALKING WITH BOTH ENTITIES SINCE MAY, BUT TO NO AVAIL. I STILL DON’T HAVE MY LICENSE. WHY?

SUPERVISOR: PLEASE GET THE “CALL LOGS” FROM BOTH LOCATIONS, SULLIVAN AND JEFFERSON CITY, MO BUSINESS DEPT. STARTING IN MAY 2021 AND DECIPHER THE TRUTH.
So, why have so many Yard Sales gone unchecked over the years until now?
Knowledge for those with lack of understanding. The calls you made to the “CITY OFFICIALS” did “NOT” effect me in a negative way, as you can see “HOUSEHOLDDEALZ” is “FULLY” operational RIGHT NOW TODAY, August 15th 2021, and it functioned fully on August 14th, 2021. So what you or you guys did “EFFECTED” the people within the “CITY LIMITS” who enjoy having their yard sales. YOU SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO THEM.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME AND MY HUBBY IS WE BELIEVE IN THE LAW, AND WE KNOW, SOMETIMES THE LAW CAN BE DECEITFUL AND HARSH DEPENDING ON WHO’S GOVERNING AND/OR WHO’S PREPARING THE REVISIONS TO THESE LAWS. SO, WE REMOVE OURSELVES FROM “FOOLISHNESS AND DECEITFULNESS.” It’s easy to do, and not break the law. SEE, I’M HAVING A “DEALZ” YARD SALES WITHIN THE “REALM OF THE LAW” IN THE “COUNTY” AND NOT BOTHERING ANYONE – IT’S ANOTHER GOOOOOOOOD DAY. (LOL).
