
Many have asked, if I’ve moved and why? As you are aware, I started this “BUSINESS” venture last year May 5, 2021. My intentions were to hold yard sales throughout the spring/summer seasons, as again, the weather predicts “YARD” sales seasons.
Many who have read this “BLOG” can see why “NOT” to conduct business within the “COUNTY” of Sullivan, which is “CRAWFORD” county. “YOUR” city manager JT Hardy and his “CONSTITUENTS” believed that my “BUSINESS” would be disrupted in the community, as JT had the “LAW” come out stating “YOU ARE DISTURBING THE PEACE” (LOL) .” JT Hardy, (THE CITY MANAGER) who owns the property and “MANY” more, began “UTILIZING” city employees, that “TAX PAYERS” like you and I, paid for, to conduct “HIS” personal affairs, on city time. Evident by the number of times his employee, who drives the “black and white” dodge, interfered with my sales. On a couple of occasions, he was driving around with my “YARD SALE” sign in trunk of his car. I had asked him “why are you doing this?” he stated, “I just do what he tells me to do.” That just blew me away, as he does what he’s told “WITHOUT” question. But, I get it, he needs his job. In the end, it all “BOILED” down to them informing me, three (3) months later, that you can only have Two (2) “yard” sales a year at any location. This only occurred after they knew I was done with their games.
REMEMBER JT ONLY “ALLOW” THOSE THAT FIT HIS AGENDA TO OPEN IN SULLIVAN.
Just 3 weeks ago, I was offered a “BUSINESS” office space on “FISHER” street in Sullivan, MO. I thanked the owner of the property but turned that offer down. (BEWARE OF RENTING AND DOING BUSINESS IN SULLIVAN) Most of the properties is either “OWNED” and/or “RENTED” by a “HANDFUL” of people, who meet “MOST” Thursdays at “APPLEBEE’S” to discuss their business dealing.
Prior to that date, I had sat down with my husband, and together, we searched for the very best location to put “HOUSEHOLDDEALZ” in full motion. After careful research, we decided that “BRANSON, MO” would be the “HOTTEST” place on the map in “MISSOURI.”
I then began making contact, with “CITY” officials, and those who are in the “KNOW” in the Branson community. I was introduced to an organization, who assisted me with making this transition. They instructed me, on the amount of money I would need to bring, as well as documents needed, in order to make things possible.
I TOOK MY “WHOLE” INCOME TAX MONEY (WHICH WASN’T MUCH) AND APPLIED IT TO MY BUSINESS.
They shared valuable information that broke ground for this venture. I shared with them, my goals, and also the things that had happened while living in “SULLIVAN.” We spoke about “EVICTIONS” and I directed them to my “PORTOFOLIO” blog and my “DEALZ” store. They ran a background check on my husband and I. After that, they invited me for a visit and everything else is history.
Yesterday, I signed a “LEASE” on the “Strip Mall” for housing/office, as well as having ground cleared on the same “Strip Mall” for my “HOUSEHOLDDEALZ” business.

My theme is “YARD” sales, so I wanted to make sure “HOUSEHOLDDEALZ” would be situated on an area with “GRASS.”
So, the answer to that question is simply “YES,” “HOUSEHOLDDEALZ” will be on display in front of “THOUSANDS” of visitors as they began to come to “BRANSON” for the season.
