Also, noteworthy, is the fact that the list is “NOT” displayed on the “CITY OF SULLIVAN” website. So, “GOOD FOR THE CITY OF SULLIVAN” keeping the community members in the “DARK” once again. “IF IT IS ON THEIR SITE, SOMEONE SEND ME THE LINK PLEASE. I believe this would be a wonderful share from the City itself. (I’ll LINK IT HERE)
Now, what I’ve noticed on the list is a large amount of publication for land. I Wonder, is there a “SEPARATE” list for homes/single family dwellings, you know the “GOOD HOMES.” The homes that “FIRST DIBBERS” GET.
HD REALTY IS PICKING OFF EVERY PIECE OF LAND NEAR AND NEXT TO THE FREEWAY. I SEE THEIR SIGNS IN ALL HIGH PROFILE LOCATION ALONG THE “44 INTERSTATE”. HOW DID THEY GET THIS MUCH LAND AND JUST COMING INTO EXISTANCE?
MAYBE THEY KNOW SOMETHING WE DON’T!
While many of us “WORKING POOR” strive to reach our dreams and goals, and in most cases, dreams of purchasing a home, one at “REASONABLE” cost, we must always entertain the question of “WHY.”
WHY – should I be required to buy a home from a “BANK” and/or any “PRIVATE HOMEOWNER for $200,000 when I “KNOW” for a fact they purchased it for $20,000 or maybe $5,000.
As one of the “Working Poor” in America, I see this as a “RESTRAINT,” an avenue “UTILIZED” to inform us working poor, who’s in charge. “HOUSING-NOT FOR THE WORKING POOR.”
WHY?
Because in Sullivan, MO housing is decided by individuals who sit at nice restaurants and laugh about who can stay in whom property. Example: I, received a call –AND- several messages from a local “RENTAL” company, YOU KNOW – “CATHLEES” who at “1” POINT early on, and with this “BLOG” in place, was able “verbally” to rent to me, even with information in “CASENET.” I have this in writing.
But, get this, shortly after my husband and I “DISCOVERED” “JT HARDY” was the owner of the 727 Dunningan Street, and “MENTIONED” it on this “BLOG,” I received a call and several more from “CATHLEES” informing me that “WE HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH JT’s case.”
That “SEEMED” somewhat “SHADY” to me. It made me feel as if “JT Hardy” had some control/connections with that entity or they were just the “BEST-EST” of friends and “CATHLEES” wanted to honor his wishes. “YOU TELL ME.”
I’m sure they have phone records.
Just a couple days ago, I was thinking out loud, and said to my husband. “I wonder why poor people have to struggle so much when we have money in the United States.
This is what he stated:
Anita, think about it. We send “BILLIONS” of dollars to other countries for wars or whatever else our elected officials deem necessary.
Here in the US, there is somewhere around 40 million good people living in poverty, and most of those people are like us, “WORKING POOR.” It is people like us who keep “BUSINESSES” running. If you give 40 million head of household “WORKING POOR”, $1 million each, a total of $40 million, what do you think will happen.
All of the working poor including us, would first, “START THEIR OWN BUSINESS, buy a nice home and so on. Why should we continue to work for someone who is not willing to pay.
People complain about the housing markets.
GIVE $1M TO EACH “HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD” POVERTY STRICKEN FAMILY AND WATCH THE HOUSING MARKET TURN. BECAUSE EVERYBODY WANTS THEIR OWN HOME/LAND. 40 MILLION NEW HOMES WILL BE SOLD IMMEDIATELY. POLITICIAN KNOW THIS. BUT, ALSO KEEN ENOUGH TO KNOW, YOU HAVE TO HAVE “WORKING POOR” TO KEEP BUSINESSES ALIVE.
This is the reason why “BILLIONS” of dollars can be sent to other countries, but $40 million “CAN’T” be given to the poorest of poor. SIMPLY PUT – WHO WILL RUN THE “RICH MAN’S” BUSINESSES? WHO WOULD PROVIDE THE “BACKBONE” TO KEEP THEIR BUSINESSES AFLOAT IF THE 40 MILLION WORKING POOR WERE GIVEN “PINCH” of what is available to other countries?
When he said it like that, it makes sense.
Since, our elected official are not willing to accommodate us in term of meeting our financial needs. Seems it would only be fair that “HOUSING” should be made “REACHABLE” for all of us who provide “STABILITY” in the “WORKFORCE.”
SPEAKING OF WORKFORCE: It makes me feel sad when I know for fact that “CHURCH” members are being taken advantage of. I’m talking about all church members including the “WORKING POOR.”
YOU SAY, HOW SO:
Each week, most of you go to church, and you adhere to the words of the “BIBLE.” “TITHE AND OFFERINGS. You give your 10 percent in hopes it do good for someone in need.
THIS IS HOW SULLIVAN HOUSING WORKS:
A “ONGOING” church member who owns a lot of property have several openings. Then, a family in “NEED” contacts the church. The church offers to assist by paying the “DEPOSIT.” The pastor of the church “COLLECTS” the deposit and shares it with the family. Giving the family means to move into a “DILAPIDATED” home, simply because the homeowner can, and has gotten away with it many times over, and the church who just don’t care, because the church “PASTOR” never went out to do a “WALK-THRU” before allowing the “CONGREGATIONS” tithe and offerings to be given to the “CHURCH GOING” homeowner.
Renters move in, ask for repairs and homeowner say, I’ll just put you out. It’s easier than fixing a problem. THAT’S, greed kicking in.
HERE’S THE STEAL:
The homeowner takes you to court, and “USUALLY,” the court agrees to pretty much “EVERY LIE” the homeowner states, because they (JUDGES) don’t really know the truth –AND- “ALWAYS” believes the person with a good purse in hand.
In “COURT”, in the presence of many people, whom you “DO NOT KNOW“, your “PRIDE & DIGNITY” is then “STRIPPED” away, as the courtroom onlookers witness their fellow “WORKING POOR” friends money being ravaged away, and then “DIVIDED” with the courts, because “COURT GOT FEES” -AND- homeowner because they came up with a “STRAIGHT FACED LIE.” After all that, “YOU” have to get up and go back to a “JOB” that is only provided to the “WORKING POOR.”
-NOW- YOU’RE A “CASENET RECIPIENT” – HAPPY HOMELESS DAY!
These individuals walk out of court with a big “SMILE,” go have a great meal, and “BRAG” about how great “COURT” went. “NOT “ONCE,” 1-TIME, DID THEY THINK TO RETURN THE DEPOSIT BACK TO THE CHURCH. NOT ONCE, DID THEY THINK ABOUT THE WORKING POOR, WHO PUT MONEY IN THE “TITHE & OFFERING” TRAY, TO HELP OUT ANOTHER WORKING POOR FAMILY. NOT ONCE, DID THEY THINK OF THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY.
-AND YET-
They smile at you each week at church. I truly wonder, how much money some of these local churches have given to the “FIRST DIBBERS” over the years.
This is the same scenario that happens at “MOTEL6” you know, where they keep the lights on. They too, take the churches money, and put people out at will. They have taken from churches for as long as JT Hardy can remember. Because we told him what was going on at that place, as we spent 19 months there.
I hope now that Sullivan have new “Aldermen” that “POSITIVE” changes will occur. I hope that our “OFFICERS” are treated much better than what I’ve witnessed.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITNESSED?
Prior to moving into 727 Dunnigan Street, I was offered a “RENTAL” behind “WALMART.” This would be the first “UNIT” you see on the right side, if coming from downtown direction towards Walmart (BACK SIDE). The Trailer “TRASH” that was offered to me and my husband was previously rented to a “POLICE OFFICE IN TRAINING.”
We let the young lady know, who was showing the property “THIS WAS NOT DOABLE.”
When she said “ONE OF THE POLICE OFFICER’S LIVE HERE.” My husband stated, “WHAT, LIVED HERE” as in “SHOCK.”
When we got back inside the car, my husband said, “WHO IN THE HELL WOULD ALLOW AN OFFICER, SOMEONE WILLING TO SACRAFICE THEMSELVES FOR THE COMMUNITY, IN A “SHIT-HOLE” LIKE THIS. WHO WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
Months later, “NOW WE KNOW”
I hope you can find a home on the list I am providing. IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL AND GREATLY APPRECIATED IF THE CITY OF SULLIVAN MANAGER PROVIDE COMMUNITY MEMBERS A LIST OF THE HOMES “HE” UTILIZE ON THE CITY’S WEBSITE.

- Check Zillows 2022 list of homes to see what was sold early on. like: Jan-Feb. Those homes should be listed. If not, why? This list was just recently made public.
- Always, see what amount an individual paid for their “TAX LIEN/FORCLOSURE” property. You know, people in the know. – THERE ARE PLACES ONLINE YOU CAN GET ACCESS TO FOR FREE. KNOW WHAT THE BANK PAID FOR THAT $200,000 PROPERTY THEY HAVE “YOU” SMILING ABOUT. I BET IT WILL TAKE THE SMILE “RIGHT OFF YOUR FACE” TO KNOW THEIR PURCHASE COST.
- You don’t always have to shake the banker’s hand because you felt you got a great deal on a home. TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS – THE PEOPLE THAT SOLD YOU THE HOME GOT THE GREAT DEAL AND THE STEAL. YOU GOT A “LIFELONG” BILL.
I’M PRETTY SURE HOMES AND LAND ARE BEING FLIPPED AMONGST THEMSELVES FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR, AND SELLING AND RENTING TO US THE “WORKING POOR” AT PRICES THEY WOULDN’T PAY THEMSELVES.
