As many of you may already be aware, we have moved once again. Number “6”<\/strong>.  We want to thank you for your support and also to remind you that the “BRANSON OUTREACH WARRIORS”<\/a><\/strong> will continue providing much needed services to those in need. EVERY SINGLE DAY<\/strong> as we seek fairness in this hotel\/apartment scam game.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–KNOW THIS–<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In spite of all the things we are going through, Anita got up at 4:30 a.m. this morning and still went to work. <\/strong>We did not get moved in until 10:00 p.m.  Wanda B. and Cheryl H. were up with her every step of the way. “THAT’S WHAT WARRIORS DO<\/a>.”  –AND– THEY WILL BE ASSISTING FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY TODAY<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even more impressive<\/strong>, Anita will be representing a young lady and her “FAMILY” via “zoom” regarding and eviction today.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

—THE STRUGGLE IS REAL—<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, we are residing at what we call “HOME BASE.” <\/strong>We are at “AMERICA’S BEST VALUE INN.”<\/strong>  In our 4 years of existence here in Branson, we have always returned to this plac<\/strong>e. Three (3) times to be exact.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

—WHY?—<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although it doesn’t have the best appearance exterior wise, it’s what’s inside those rooms that’s important to Anita and me. Inside there is always a “FRESH” and “CLEAN” smell.  –AND– although Anita and I always wipe down everything wherever we lay our heads, it is not necessary here. They take “PRIDE” in what they do.<\/strong> Things are always clean and they treat their guests with respect.<\/strong> More important, is that they recognized themselves as a hotel and they function in that lane.<\/strong> They are “NOT”<\/strong> trying to be an apartment, or any other “thought up” hotel entity. <\/strong>Therefore, everyone understands their guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita and I came to Branson with smiles on our faces<\/strong> knowing the possibilities this place has to offer the both of us in terms of retirement and enjoyment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we initially met the people who run “ELEVATE” almost 4 years ago<\/strong>, Anita and I made it clear to their staff what our plans were, and to this day our plans still remain the same.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita wanted to move forward with her outreach program<\/strong>, by doing so she continues helping those in need, and I have hopes of coaching a little league “WORLD SERIES” baseball team<\/strong> before I  die.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

–AND–<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am going to complete that task.<\/strong> The team will derive from the community in which Anita and I find housing, real housing. It could be Forsyth, Branson, Hollister, wherever we land is the city I will be coaching in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought I would have been coaching this summer, but as you can tell by reading this blog, there are still many obstacles<\/strong>. So for now the “BRANSON OUTREACH WARRIORS”<\/strong> is clearing the path by encouraging and helping those in need to better themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, Anita and I wanted to send a shout out to “AMERICA’S BEST VALUE INN” for doing everything right.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe the “CITY” should “REWARD” entities like this one by giving a grant or tax deduction that would allow them to “PAINT” the exterior as I believe they would utilize the funding they receive to make this happen, it would also send a message that the CITY rewards those who strive to better our community appearances, and it will also bring the value up. “JUST MY THOUGHT”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are prideful people and this is a  prideful hotel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–NOW CHECK THE MONEY HUSTLE OUT FROM ANOTHER LOCAL LOW END GRIPPER–<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am going to share this with you, as I feel you should know.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita went online yesterday and found a local hotel (I’m not going to mention a name because we did not reside there). However, we paid close to $300 for the room in advance. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“ONLINE” the rooms look “AMAZING”<\/strong> – BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 3:00 p.m. we arrived at the hotel location.<\/strong> Anita and I entered the office and spoke with a young lady who actually came from an area we once resided in, Citrus Heights, CA and she lived in Roseville, CA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We completed all necessary hard copies of paperwork and she handed us the key<\/strong>. We walked into that room, and I want you to know this; the smell and whole “ATMOSPHERE” could knock a human being to their knees. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita did take photos and it’s “UNBELIEVABLE” what they give us “PO” folks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita asked me to go in and “ask for a refund”<\/strong> as she was through<\/strong>. I proceeded back to the office and spoke kindly to the young lady.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I STATED:<\/strong> Look, I apologize but things are not like what we expected. We thought we were getting a larger room. (I did not want to tell her seriousness of the smell and filth as other guests were standing there)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHE STATED: <\/strong>Let me check something out, I think those rooms are for “OUR LOCALS.” <\/strong>She asked me, what is wrong?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I STATED: <\/strong>The room has a very bad smell and things are just not what we thought. (I did not want to go in full detail but, I can sense that she understood.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHE STATED: <\/strong> I may have something else, because those rooms are for the locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I STATED: <\/strong>Okay, I will go and ask Anita to come in<\/strong> so you can explain it to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A while later Anita comes out with another “room” key<\/strong>. People, I just cannot explain it <\/strong>to you. The funk, the filth, the mold, was something no one should be living in<\/strong>. “NOT EVEN A DOG”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I went back into the office and asked kindly if she would just give us a refund<\/strong>. I stated, It’s not what your company is showing online.  The pictures aren’t right.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHE STATED:<\/strong> I know, I told the owner that, this place is old that is why it smells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

—THIS IS WHEN IT GOT CRAZY —<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While seeking out other places, Anita receives a phone call<\/strong>. This call came from the “OWNER” herself, who was IN ANOTHER STATE OR COUNTRY and “ANGRY.” Angry because we did not choose to stay at her hotel “HOLE”<\/strong>. I felt she wanted that same money we had her manager refund to us.<\/strong> WE GAVE IT TO HER “ONLINE” LOOKIN FOR “GOLD” <\/strong>AND SHE GAVE US A HANDFUL OF “SHIT”<\/strong> AND GOT MAD BECAUSE WE DIDN’T LIKE THE SMELL<\/strong>, WHICH MEANT WE WERE “NOT” GOING TO BREAK BREAD IN THAT ROOM. NOT IN THAT SHIT HOLE.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita tried to explain to the lady that this place is NOT what is listed on the “INTERNET”;<\/strong> none of the pictures match the rooms we saw online. SO,<\/strong> Anita “SENT” her a link to “HER” THE OWNER’S ONLINE “PHOTOS” and then sent the owner “IMAGES” Anita had taken just minutes ago of that room.<\/strong> Anita said “DO YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE”?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE LADY FELT WE HAD NO RIGHT TO REFUSED THAT HOLE. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DO THAT. WE DID IT RESPECTFULLY AND SHE IS MAD.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s how they do us “PO” folks.<\/strong>  GET THAT MONEY! – SHE, THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HER PLACE, BUT YET SHE’S PROUD<\/strong>. It clearly shows that these low end places have a “KNACK” for setting up “PO” folks and taking the little money they have. – FOR A SHIT HOLE.<\/strong> – Makes matter worse, is they have it “LAID” out what belongs to “LOCALS” and what belongs to guests<\/strong>. Either way, from what I saw, both parties are getting screwed. “BIG TIME”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT WAS AT THAT POINT ANITA SAID I’M CALLING MY PEOPLE OVER THERE AT “AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN”. WE CAN BREATHE CLEAN AIR HERE.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“OUR SAFE HAVEN”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
