Is it the hotel owners responsibility to report who works for them?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few good examples<\/strong> of helping someone for “FREE” <\/strong>include volunteering time, offering advice, lending a hand with a task, or donating to a charity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Branson, MO the going verbiage<\/strong> for “PO” folks employment is the “HELP.”<\/strong>
 
With the anticipated influx of J1’s and H2B’s<\/strong> many businesses have begun the process of either “REDUCING” and\/or “ELIMINATING”<\/strong> work hours from the “LOCALS,”<\/strong> some who are currently seeking out solutions “NOT” to become homeless.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita has received a couple of calls<\/strong> in which individuals have indicated the eagerness of a “HOTEL\/RESIDENT” owner’s offer, to give them a “FREE” room provided they perform “CLEANING SERVICES” for that business. <\/strong>They also believe, by the tone of their voices, they are getting a deal. Actually, it’s the thrill of possibly keeping a roof over their heads.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Anita and I have witnessed,<\/strong> over the last 4 years<\/strong> in Branson, the “HELP” in “FULL BLOWN” motion<\/strong> from hole to hole, in which we<\/strong> migrated as a “NOMADIC” family<\/strong>, with our granddaughters, the “HELP” is at an “ALL TIME HIGH” and looking positive for the 2025 opening season.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

****HOW SO, HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the influx of J1’s and H2B’s happen<\/strong>, many businesses have to make room<\/strong> to afford these individuals a place to work. By doing so, the “LOCALS” are suddenly pushed out, and\/or hours cut so deep that they are forced to seek other avenues for survival.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In most cases, many of us “PO” folks who have lived in these low-end “HOTEL” holes<\/strong> don’t want to land on the streets. It is at that very moment<\/strong>, and that point in time<\/strong>, the “HOTEL” hole “BARGAINING” begins -AND- slick, sick, deals are made. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enclave prospered well <\/strong>off an individual I knew for years and suddenly pushed out. Currently, he and his partner are now living the “NOMADIC” lifestyle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, while the J1’s and H2B’s are working “HARD” to secure their “HIGH PRICED” hotel holes,<\/strong> the “LOCALS” are now “DEMOTED” to the “HELP.” <\/strong>– The class below the underclass.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are “PO” folks “MAINTENANCE WORKERS, HOTEL CLEANERS, SWEEP MY FLO PEOPLE, – HELL, JACK AND JILL OF ALL TRADE, THEY MAY EVEN FIX THE HOTEL HOLE “ELECTRICAL ISSUES, PLUMBING PROBLEMS, AIR CONDITIONERS AND TOILETS.<\/strong> And at some places they check and distribute the mail, all while having access to the computer system, they are sometimes desk clerks. Some, we have witnessed, don’t sleep. They work “ALL” hours of the day and night. Most don’t have a degree or “BUSINESS” license to function in these assignments as many come from the food industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

KEEP IN MIND, LOCALS BECOME THE “HELP”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the hotel owner who is an “ATTORNEY”<\/strong> functions in this slick, sick manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

****SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita and I <\/strong>explained to these individuals by first asking;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DO YOU COLLECT SSI OR ANYTHING FROM FEDERAL OR STATE ENTITIES?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HELP STATED:<\/strong> Yeah, but we won’t get paid anything, they’re gonna let us have the room for “FREE.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANITA STATED:<\/strong> How much is your room?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HELP STATED:<\/strong> $800.00 a month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANITA STATED:<\/strong> Do you have a lease?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HELP STATED:<\/strong> Yeah, we do<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANITA STATED:<\/strong> Okay, if you are helping, and that goes toward paying the rent<\/strong>, you are “helping” to pay for that room right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HELP STATED:<\/strong> Yeah, but it’s FREE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

****ENOUGH IS ENOUGH – IT AIN’T FREE****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“PO” folks think about it<\/strong>. In most cases as Anita and I have witnessed with our own eyes<\/strong> many of you work from dust to dawn.<\/strong> We have witnessed some of you come home from one job location, only to work “FREE”<\/strong> in the “HOTEL” hole<\/strong> in which you reside near us. “Oak Grove” and “ENCLAVE” are good case scenarios.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That room you lay your head in each day is in most cases taken “OFF LINE.” <\/strong>According to the laws in Branson, your “HOTEL” hole room must be closed if uninhabitable<\/strong>. It must meet certain requirements deemed by code enforcement to be open.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“ONLY CODE ENFORCEMENT KNOWS THAT SECRET CODE”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

See, the only people prospering are the “HOTEL” holes<\/strong>. The State of Missouri and Feds don’t even collect correct taxes from these hole owners.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

****HOW SO – HOW COULD THAT BE?****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth is, after you’ve worked 40 plus hours per week for them, they give you nothing showing you being employed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of you are told to pay a “SMALL” portion of the rent from your government check<\/strong>, and “WORK” off<\/strong> the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By doing so, they are collecting<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Cash “MONEY” from you<\/strong> – by way of<\/strong> government check<\/strong>.
2)<\/strong> “FREE” labor from you<\/strong>
3) <\/strong>“NOT” reporting these items on taxes, cause your room is “TECHNICALLY” off line. – LIKE THE LEPRECHAUN THEY GOT THE GOLD.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a “DEAL” all provided by the “PO” working class folks, the “LOCALS.” – “OUT BY 5”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“PO” folks, these are “For-Profit” hotel holes capitalizing off you “NOT” knowing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the “HOTEL” holes should be reporting, “YOU” should be reporting too.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are on any Government program, you are to “INFORM” them that you “EARNED” $800 or whatever cost of rent,<\/strong> as “YOU” are “PROVIDING” much needed “SERVICES” <\/strong>to a for profit business<\/strong>. The moment you perform services and for a certain period of time, you are a “1099” self-employed worker. <\/strong>You must report your earnings. After-all, you “PHYSICALLY” worked to pay for that hole.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “HOTEL” hole owner “IS REQUIRED” to show you as providing services.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government might decide to do a couple of things.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Reduce your check based on you, “NOT” having to pay rent,<\/strong> as you are employed “OFF PAPER<\/strong>” for that business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Check into the status of these low-end “Hotel” hole. <\/strong>To see if these businesses are functioning properly and within the realm of the law. “CONFIRM”<\/strong> WORK DONE AND BY WHOM<\/strong> IN THE LAST 5 YEARS<\/strong>. “ARE THEY OPERATING AS A HOTEL SHOULD?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, I suggest thinking twice before becoming the “HELP” in Branson<\/strong> at one of these low-end “HOTEL” holes as they are setting you up to “LOSE” everything including your “GOVERNMENT” check.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHY DO YOU THINK THEY CAN GET RID OF YOU ANY TIME THEY WANT?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because they know you are receiving a Government check <\/strong>and you ain’t gonna tell. PLUS,<\/strong> you ain’t on paper<\/strong>, So, get “OUT BY 5” and don’t come back.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACCORDING TO GOOGLE SEARCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A person receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cannot work for a hotel and not report it, as all earned and unearned income must be reported to the Social Security Administration (SSA). Failure to report income can lead to penalties, overpayments, and potential fraud charges.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
