{"id":3301,"date":"2025-04-16T12:36:49","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T12:36:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.householddealz.com\/portfolio\/?p=3301"},"modified":"2026-01-25T21:27:57","modified_gmt":"2026-01-25T21:27:57","slug":"do-you-see-what-i-see","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.householddealz.com\/portfolio\/do-you-see-what-i-see\/","title":{"rendered":"Do You See What I See"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"195\" height=\"129\" src=\"http:\/\/www.householddealz.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DandA.png\" alt=\"What Up Poor Folks\" class=\"wp-image-1693\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>J1&#8217;s vs Locals<\/strong> &#8211; WHO&#8217;S WINNING?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last blog post Anita and I talked about the level in which the <strong>&#8220;WORKING&#8221; &#8220;PO&#8221;<\/strong> class folks have been<strong> pushed to the bottom, <\/strong>while the <strong>J1&#8217;s and H2B&#8217;s<\/strong> are running atop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I speak of winning, I really don&#8217;t know what the prize is. <strong>It could be winning the &#8220;TITLE&#8221; as the &#8220;HELP.&#8221; <\/strong>This is the <strong>most &#8220;PRESTIGIOUS&#8221; and &#8220;HONORED&#8221; title offered to us &#8220;PO&#8221; folks in Branson<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****LET US SEE TOGETHER WHO IS REALLY WINNING****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Neither are successful at &#8220;APPLYING AND RECEIVING&#8221; &#8220;UNEMPLOYMENT&#8221; benefits<\/strong> in Branson. I believe only <strong>those that &#8220;FIT&#8221; the description can successfully accomplish this feat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From my vantage point, and where I sit,<strong> I see a system designed to deny many working class &#8220;PO&#8221; folks from receiving their duly earned money.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a football game, usually <strong>the winner is the team with the &#8220;MOST&#8221; points<\/strong> at the <strong>end of the &#8220;FOURTH&#8221; quarter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Branson has designed a <strong>work environment <\/strong>where possibly <strong>no one in the &#8220;LOW-END&#8221; hotel holes can ever achieve and master the &#8220;UNEMPLOYMENT&#8221; intake program game.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****HOW COULD THAT BE****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>&#8220;FOUR&#8221; quarters<\/strong> are <strong>&#8220;DIVIDED&#8221;<\/strong> amongst <strong>&#8220;TWO&#8221; groups of people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GROUP 1<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>&#8220;LOCALS&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; They work &#8220;<strong>UP&#8221; to &#8220;THREE&#8221; quarters<\/strong> &#8211; Some with <strong>very few working hours<\/strong>. Many <strong>work in the food industry<\/strong>. The <strong>same industry visitors to Branson rely on<\/strong>. Therefore,<strong> they will never be able to apply<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GROUP 2<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>&#8220;J1&#8217;s and H2B&#8217;s&#8221; <\/strong>&#8211; Work<strong> &#8220;ONE&#8221; quarter<\/strong> and sent back home &#8211; <strong>most lose working hours within days after arriving, while some lose their jobs completely.<\/strong> &#8211; Therefore, <strong>they will never be able to apply.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****SO LET&#8217;S DO THE MATH****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;THREE QUARTERS&#8221; TO THE LOCALS<\/strong> AND <strong>&#8220;ONE QUARTER&#8221; TO THE J1&#8217;s and H2B&#8217;s<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>3 + 1 = 4 QUARTERS<\/strong>. <strong>&#8220;ALL WORKERS ARE UNDERPAID AND OVERWORKED&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the workforce, it takes &#8220;<strong>4&#8243; quarters for a person to achieve happiness in Branson&#8217;s employees &#8220;UNEMPLOYMENT&#8221; game.<\/strong> PROBLEM WITH THAT IS <strong>CERTAIN BUSINESS OWNERS WILL ONLY AFFORD THAT OPPORTUNITY TO A SELECT FEW.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong> &#8220;DEPT. OF LABOR&#8221; states on their website;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In order to qualify <\/strong>as an insured worker, a <strong>claimant must:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> <strong>Lose his\/her job through no fault of the claimant OR quit for a valid reason<\/strong> related to the work or the employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> <strong>Make at least $2,250<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>At least $1,500 during one of the calendar quarters<\/strong>, and <strong>at least $750 during the remainder of the year<\/strong>\u2014from an <strong>insured employer<\/strong> during the base period &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>-AND-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His\/her <strong>total base period wages must be at least 1.5 times his\/her highest quarter wages.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>-OR-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\/she must <strong>make at least $19,500 during two of the four quarters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/labor.mo.gov\/faqs\/knowledge-base\/how-eligibility-determined#:~:text=Benefits%20paid%20to%20a%20claimant,two%20of%20the%20four%20quarters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>(DEPT. OF LABOR WEBSITE LINK)<\/strong><\/a><br>BE SURE TO VISIT THIS WEBSITE AS IT WILL HELP YOU DECIDE IF BRANSON IS RIGHT FOR YOU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****END RESULTS****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Branson has <strong>stayed true to the format mentioned above<\/strong> and knows <strong>&#8220;EXACTLY&#8221; when your work &#8220;HOURS&#8221; should be cut.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CERTAIN BUSINESSES BY DESIGN ARE MAKING SURE YOU &#8220;THE WORKING PO&#8221; STAY BELOW WHAT IS REQUIRE TO &#8220;ACHEIVE&#8221; ELIGIBILITY.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****THIS IS HOW IT WORKS****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;BUSINESSES&#8221; start <strong>&#8220;REDUCING&#8221; &#8220;LOCALS&#8221; work hours<\/strong>, in a time the <strong>Locals need more hours, instead of less.<\/strong> Exactly <strong>what we are seeing &#8220;NOW&#8221; as the J1&#8217;s and H2B&#8217;s began their transition<\/strong> into the <strong>Branson workforce.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;PAINFULLY&#8221; the &#8220;LOCALS&#8221; are being &#8220;PUSHED&#8221; aside &#8220;WITHOUT&#8221; unemployment assistance and\/or housing because they don&#8217;t have enough &#8220;QUARTERS&#8221; in, and\/or income to stay afloat.<\/strong> <strong>&#8220;ULTIMATELY FORCED<\/strong> TO THE STREET OR<strong> OUT OF TOWN<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT DO THESE HARD WORKING &#8220;PO&#8221; FOLKS LIKE ANITA AND I HAVE IN COMMON?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Both<\/strong> are required to <strong>dwell in places that are FILTHY, STINKY, and NASTY, with roaches and outdated furniture<\/strong>. Both are <strong>subjected to losing work hours &#8220;WITHOUT&#8221; notice<\/strong>. -AND- Both <strong>are &#8220;EXPECTED&#8221; to pay incredibly &#8220;HIGH&#8221; ass prices<\/strong> for these<strong> &#8220;LOW-END&#8221; shit holes<\/strong>. <strong>EXAMPLE:<\/strong> <strong>(3 Humans and 1 Pet = 4 Heartbeats for a GRAND TOTAL OF $1600.00) in these shit holes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the <strong>J1&#8217;s and H2B&#8217;s leave Branson<\/strong> and go home, they are just as <strong>worn down and &#8220;BROKEN&#8221; as the &#8220;LOCALS.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So people, <strong>please take time to follow the guidelines above and visit the &#8220;Dept. of Labor&#8221; website<\/strong> to better <strong>understand and ascertain whether or &#8220;NOT&#8221; Branson is a good fit for you and your family.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can <strong>make a better informed decision<\/strong> if you know <strong>whether or not you meet the guidelines for unemployment. <\/strong>Because <strong>these are the standards used to make it &#8220;IMPOSSIBLE&#8221; for the &#8220;PO&#8221; working class &#8220;LOCALS&#8221; to &#8220;APPLY&#8221; and &#8220;RECEIVE&#8221; their &#8220;UNEMPLOYMENT&#8221; checks.<\/strong> Especially, when your <strong>working hours are &#8220;CONSTANTLY&#8221; being cut.<\/strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Work today in Branson, Become Homeless Tomorrow<\/strong>. Do your homework before you seek employment in Branson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THERE IS A GREAT RISK THAT YOU, YOUR SPOUSE, AND CHILDREN &#8220;MAY&#8221; BECOME HOMELESS IN BRANSON.
