{"id":3467,"date":"2025-07-20T20:49:54","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T20:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.householddealz.com\/portfolio\/?p=3467"},"modified":"2026-01-24T20:17:20","modified_gmt":"2026-01-24T20:17:20","slug":"ambition-requires-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.householddealz.com\/portfolio\/ambition-requires-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambition Requires Action"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"195\" height=\"129\" src=\"http:\/\/www.householddealz.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DandA.png\" alt=\"What Up Poor Folks\" class=\"wp-image-1693\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Or It&#8217;s Just A Thought&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today Anita forward a link to an article that&#8217;s located on <strong>&#8220;Branson Globe&#8221; website.<\/strong> Yes, we do <strong>believe in their reporting.<\/strong> The article states,<strong> &#8220;Branson TIF Commission recommends ambitious $400 million redevelopment plan<\/strong>.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bransonglobe.com\/post\/branson-tif-commission-recommends-ambitious-400-million-redevelopment-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>(READ FULL ARTICLE HERE) <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yep, $400 million dollars.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think that&#8217;s <strong>&#8220;VERY&#8221; ambitious<\/strong>, but on <strong>a &#8220;REAL TIP&#8221;, who&#8217;s paying for it?<\/strong> So, I took a moment to see exactly <strong>how this (TIF) Tax Increment Financing works.&nbsp;<\/strong><br>You can too. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bataviail.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/4955\/What-is-Tax-Increment-Financing-TIF-and-How-Does-it-Work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(EXAMPLE: READ THIS AND SEE WHAT YO POCKET BOOK THINK). <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anita and I have <strong>lived in Branson several years now<\/strong>. We shop at <strong>all the local stores<\/strong>, (that we can afford), we <strong>eat faithfully at McDonalds<\/strong>, and we have <strong>paid over $50,000 to the low end &#8220;HOTEL&#8221; holes,<\/strong> which indicate that Anita and I are <strong>strong believers in the community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anita believes that <strong>there are needs for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bransonglobe.com\/post\/branson-tif-commission-recommends-ambitious-400-million-redevelopment-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;REDEVELOPMENT&#8221; projects<\/a><\/strong>. But, after reading these plans, one would needs answers, like ahh; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> Are these 300 or so <strong>&#8220;RESIDENTIAL HOUSING&#8221; for &#8220;LOCALS&#8221; or &#8220;VISITORS&#8221;?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> Are they <strong>&#8220;REQUIRING&#8221; a lease?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> Are there <strong>any accommodations for our &#8220;SENIORS&#8221;?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4) <\/strong>Are there any <strong>&#8220;DAYCARE&#8221; facilities mentioned?<\/strong> Most people are<strong> working and raising grandchildren<\/strong>, while holding down a job. <strong>Some work for the &#8220;CITY.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5)<\/strong> Anything Included for<strong> &#8220;HOSPITALS, BRANSON PD, FIRE DEPT. HIGHWAY PATROL, SHERIFF AND CITY EMPLOYEES?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6) <\/strong>A <strong>&#8220;HOMELESS SHELTER&#8221; would really &#8220;BENEFIT&#8221; the &#8220;COMMUNITY&#8221;<\/strong>&#8211; <strong>IS THIS IN YOUR PLANS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****SHIT WHAT&#8217;S MORE IMPORTANT IS****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who&#8217;s cleaning <\/strong>these newly discovered <strong>&#8220;CABINS, BIBLICAL ATTRACTIONS, HOTELS&#8221;?<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>(WHO, &#8220;THE HELP&#8221;)<\/strong> &#8211; With all the <strong>new development<\/strong> it will require<strong> more &#8220;FIRST RESPONDERS.&#8221; <\/strong> Your project will require <strong>more pay and more staff.<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>&#8220;DO YOU HAVE THAT LISTED AS IMPORTANT?&#8221;<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FIRST RESPONDERS<\/strong> <strong>WILL<\/strong> <strong>REQUIRE MORE PAY AS THEY WILL HAVE MORE AREA TO COVER.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****WIERD SHIT KEEPS COMING OFF THE FAN****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) <strong>&#8220;ELEVATE&#8221; <\/strong>can&#8217;t get into gear because of <strong>city obstacles<\/strong>, &#8211; <strong>TINY HOMES ARE NEEDED NOW.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) <strong>$5 million dollar &#8220;B&#8221; is already fading out<\/strong>. Project creating a <strong>huge financial loss for some business owners.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) <strong>Low end Hotels are off the (-UCKEN) chain<\/strong>. I believe they do more <strong>&#8220;PRICE GOUGING&#8221; <\/strong>than an <strong>&#8220;AIRLINES DURING CHRISTMAS&#8221; break.<\/strong> Every weekend the prices<strong> are &#8220;OUT -UCKEN RAGEOUS&#8221; &#8211; They need to be regulated and monitored.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of these shit holes have us locals take a <strong>&#8220;PISS&#8221; test. I know for a fact because Anita and I pissed for the camera.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>****ON THE REAL CHECK****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you come into Branson from <strong>the West Branson side<\/strong> where <strong>IHOP is located<\/strong>, drive down until you <strong>&#8220;SEE&#8221; a &#8220;HOTEL&#8221; hole that is so &#8220;OUT OF PLACE&#8221; <\/strong>that you can&#8217;t miss it, the <strong>shit color <\/strong>is unbearable. It is a <strong>(-UCKEN) eye &#8220;SORE,&#8221; <\/strong>&#8220;WHY IS THIS <strong>RUN DOWN ASS &#8220;BUILDING&#8221; STILL STANDING? <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>What is going on with Code Enforcement?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The location <strong>&#8220;I&#8221; am speaking of<\/strong>, represents <strong>more money than the &#8220;CITY&#8221; can imagine<\/strong>. That is the <strong>most &#8220;TRAVELLED&#8221; area in Branson<\/strong>. <strong>WHY ARE THOSE SHIT &#8220;HOLES&#8221; SITTING THERE?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If, and when you can talk with our youth, our teenagers, they will &#8220;HELP&#8221; you understand what type of &#8220;ATTRACTIONS&#8221; better suit their generation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TIF<\/strong> calls for <strong>local taxing bodies to make a joint investment<\/strong> in the development or redevelopment of an area, with the intent that any short-term gains be reinvested and leveraged so that <strong>all taxing bodies will receive &#8220;LARGER FINANCIAL GAINS IN THE FUTURE.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, In closing <strong>some of us would like to know,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Who are the investors?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> <strong>Can Branson&#8217;s &#8220;PO&#8221; working class folks &#8220;INVEST?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> <strong>What is the &#8220;MINIMUM&#8221; cost to invest?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> <strong>Can a &#8220;LAYMAN&#8221; person such as myself invest?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please let <strong>Anita know via #FACEBOOK if &#8220;PO&#8221; folks like us can invest <\/strong>so we can get &#8220;<strong>LARGER GAINS IN THE FUTURE.&#8221;<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AFTER ALL, IF I AM PAYING FOR IT IN TAXES,<\/strong> ONE WOULD THINK <strong>THAT WOULD MAKE &#8220;ME&#8221; AN &#8220;INVESTOR.&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; SO, <strong>AS AN &#8220;INVESTOR&#8221;<\/strong> AND <strong>BECAUSE I PAY &#8220;TAXES,&#8221;<\/strong> I WOULD<strong> LIKE TO GET MY CUT OF THE &#8220;PIE.&#8221;<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When the &#8220;CITY&#8221; pays its part of the money generated by taxes I  and other &#8220;PO&#8221; working class folks have paid in, that would make us &#8220;INVESTORS&#8221; in &#8220;TIF.&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8211; PLEASE BE SURE TO REACH OUT TO &#8220;US&#8221; WHEN THE &#8220;FINANCING&#8221; CHECKS ARE READY-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, <strong>&#8220;ALDERMEN AND WOMEN&#8221; <\/strong>make sure that you remember those <strong>&#8220;DOWNTOWN&#8221; businesses who have lost dearly<\/strong> with this <strong>current project,<\/strong> the <strong>&#8220;TINY HOME&#8221; project<\/strong>, the <strong>FUTURE HOME OF BRANSON PD STATION.<\/strong> <strong>(IS THAT SHIT COMPLETED?),<\/strong> the <strong>homeless who are living in cars, in the woods, and Branson&#8217;s streets. <\/strong>Think about the<strong> high ass taxes and price gouging already going on. &#8220;THINK ABOUT IT.&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>A SHELTER IS A MUST HAVE<\/strong> <strong>AND<\/strong> <strong>A BETTER FINANCIAL PACKAGE FOR OUR FIRST RESPONDERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ask yourself, are you willing to burden the taxpayer with higher taxes at this moment in time?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USE THE DEVELOPERS TO <strong>REMOVE AND REGENERATE SOMETHING MORE BENEFICIAL IN A BENEFICIAL<\/strong> <strong>AREA OF TOWN<\/strong>. &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THE <strong>&#8220;ENCLAVES&#8221; <\/strong>LOCATION IS PERFECT FOR THIS<strong> REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM<\/strong> AND INCLUDE PLATOS CAVE. &#8211; NOW YOU <strong>MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IF YOU ARE HUNGRY AND NEED FOOD, REACH OUT TO THE BRANSON OUTREACH WARRIORS.
