“Or It’s Just A Thought”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today Anita forward a link to an article that’s located on “Branson Globe” website.<\/strong> Yes, we do believe in their reporting.<\/strong> The article states, “Branson TIF Commission recommends ambitious $400 million redevelopment plan<\/strong>.” (READ FULL ARTICLE HERE) <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yep, $400 million dollars.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think that’s “VERY” ambitious<\/strong>, but on a “REAL TIP”, who’s paying for it?<\/strong> So, I took a moment to see exactly how this (TIF) Tax Increment Financing works. <\/strong>
You can too. (EXAMPLE: READ THIS AND SEE WHAT YO POCKET BOOK THINK). <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita and I have lived in Branson several years now<\/strong>. We shop at all the local stores<\/strong>, (that we can afford), we eat faithfully at McDonalds<\/strong>, and we have paid over $50,000 to the low end “HOTEL” holes,<\/strong> which indicate that Anita and I are strong believers in the community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anita believes that there are needs for “REDEVELOPMENT” projects<\/a><\/strong>. But, after reading these plans, one would needs answers, like ahh; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1)<\/strong> Are these 300 or so “RESIDENTIAL HOUSING” for “LOCALS” or “VISITORS”?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2)<\/strong> Are they “REQUIRING” a lease?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)<\/strong> Are there any accommodations for our “SENIORS”?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) <\/strong>Are there any “DAYCARE” facilities mentioned?<\/strong> Most people are working and raising grandchildren<\/strong>, while holding down a job. Some work for the “CITY.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5)<\/strong> Anything Included for “HOSPITALS, BRANSON PD, FIRE DEPT. HIGHWAY PATROL, SHERIFF AND CITY EMPLOYEES?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6) <\/strong>A “HOMELESS SHELTER” would really “BENEFIT” the “COMMUNITY”<\/strong>– IS THIS IN YOUR PLANS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

****SHIT WHAT’S MORE IMPORTANT IS****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who’s cleaning <\/strong>these newly discovered “CABINS, BIBLICAL ATTRACTIONS, HOTELS”?<\/strong> – (WHO, “THE HELP”)<\/strong> – With all the new development<\/strong> it will require more “FIRST RESPONDERS.” <\/strong> Your project will require more pay and more staff.<\/strong> – “DO YOU HAVE THAT LISTED AS IMPORTANT?”<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST RESPONDERS<\/strong> WILL<\/strong> REQUIRE MORE PAY AS THEY WILL HAVE MORE AREA TO COVER.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

****WIERD SHIT KEEPS COMING OFF THE FAN****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) “ELEVATE” <\/strong>can’t get into gear because of city obstacles<\/strong>, – TINY HOMES ARE NEEDED NOW.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) $5 million dollar “B” is already fading out<\/strong>. Project creating a huge financial loss for some business owners.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Low end Hotels are off the (-UCKEN) chain<\/strong>. I believe they do more “PRICE GOUGING” <\/strong>than an “AIRLINES DURING CHRISTMAS” break.<\/strong> Every weekend the prices are “OUT -UCKEN RAGEOUS” – They need to be regulated and monitored.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of these shit holes have us locals take a “PISS” test. I know for a fact because Anita and I pissed for the camera.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

****ON THE REAL CHECK****<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you come into Branson from the West Branson side<\/strong> where IHOP is located<\/strong>, drive down until you “SEE” a “HOTEL” hole that is so “OUT OF PLACE” <\/strong>that you can’t miss it, the shit color <\/strong>is unbearable. It is a (-UCKEN) eye “SORE,” <\/strong>“WHY IS THIS RUN DOWN ASS “BUILDING” STILL STANDING? <\/strong>– What is going on with Code Enforcement?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The location “I” am speaking of<\/strong>, represents more money than the “CITY” can imagine<\/strong>. That is the most “TRAVELLED” area in Branson<\/strong>. WHY ARE THOSE SHIT “HOLES” SITTING THERE?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If, and when you can talk with our youth, our teenagers, they will “HELP” you understand what type of “ATTRACTIONS” better suit their generation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TIF<\/strong> calls for local taxing bodies to make a joint investment<\/strong> in the development or redevelopment of an area, with the intent that any short-term gains be reinvested and leveraged so that all taxing bodies will receive “LARGER FINANCIAL GAINS IN THE FUTURE.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, In closing some of us would like to know,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Who are the investors?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2)<\/strong> Can Branson’s “PO” working class folks “INVEST?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)<\/strong> What is the “MINIMUM” cost to invest?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4)<\/strong> Can a “LAYMAN” person such as myself invest?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please let Anita know via #FACEBOOK if “PO” folks like us can invest <\/strong>so we can get “LARGER GAINS IN THE FUTURE.”<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFTER ALL, IF I AM PAYING FOR IT IN TAXES,<\/strong> ONE WOULD THINK THAT WOULD MAKE “ME” AN “INVESTOR.”<\/strong> – SO, AS AN “INVESTOR”<\/strong> AND BECAUSE I PAY “TAXES,”<\/strong> I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY CUT OF THE “PIE.”<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the “CITY” pays its part of the money generated by taxes I and other “PO” working class folks have paid in, that would make us “INVESTORS” in “TIF.”<\/strong> – CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– PLEASE BE SURE TO REACH OUT TO “US” WHEN THE “FINANCING” CHECKS ARE READY-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, “ALDERMEN AND WOMEN” <\/strong>make sure that you remember those “DOWNTOWN” businesses who have lost dearly<\/strong> with this current project,<\/strong> the “TINY HOME” project<\/strong>, the FUTURE HOME OF BRANSON PD STATION.<\/strong> (IS THAT SHIT COMPLETED?),<\/strong> the homeless who are living in cars, in the woods, and Branson’s streets. <\/strong>Think about the high ass taxes and price gouging already going on. “THINK ABOUT IT.”<\/strong> – A SHELTER IS A MUST HAVE<\/strong> AND<\/strong> A BETTER FINANCIAL PACKAGE FOR OUR FIRST RESPONDERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask yourself, are you willing to burden the taxpayer with higher taxes at this moment in time?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

USE THE DEVELOPERS TO REMOVE AND REGENERATE SOMETHING MORE BENEFICIAL IN A BENEFICIAL<\/strong> AREA OF TOWN<\/strong>. –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE “ENCLAVES” <\/strong>LOCATION IS PERFECT FOR THIS REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM<\/strong> AND INCLUDE PLATOS CAVE. – NOW YOU MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IF YOU ARE HUNGRY AND NEED FOOD, REACH OUT TO THE BRANSON OUTREACH WARRIORS. THEY HELP WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
