Today Anita forward a link to an article that’s located on “Branson Globe” website. Yes, we do believe in their reporting. The article states, “Branson TIF Commission recommends ambitious $400 million redevelopment plan.” (READ FULL ARTICLE HERE)
Yep, $400 million dollars.
I think that’s “VERY” ambitious, but on a “REAL TIP”, who’s paying for it? So, I took a moment to see exactly how this (TIF) Tax Increment Financing works.
You can too. (EXAMPLE: READ THIS AND SEE WHAT YO POCKET BOOK THINK).
Anita and I have lived in Branson several years now. We shop at all the local stores, (that we can afford), we eat faithfully at McDonalds, and we have paid over $50,000 to the low end “HOTEL” holes, which indicate that Anita and I are strong believers in the community.
Anita believes that there are needs for “REDEVELOPMENT” projects. But, after reading these plans, one would needs answers, like ahh;
1) Are these 300 or so “RESIDENTIAL HOUSING” for “LOCALS” or “VISITORS”?
2) Are they “REQUIRING” a lease?
3) Are there any accommodations for our “SENIORS”?
4) Are there any “DAYCARE” facilities mentioned? Most people are working and raising grandchildren, while holding down a job. Some work for the “CITY.”
5) Anything Included for “HOSPITALS, BRANSON PD, FIRE DEPT. HIGHWAY PATROL, SHERIFF AND CITY EMPLOYEES?”
6) A “HOMELESS SHELTER” would really “BENEFIT” the “COMMUNITY”– IS THIS IN YOUR PLANS?
****SHIT WHAT’S MORE IMPORTANT IS****
Who’s cleaning these newly discovered “CABINS, BIBLICAL ATTRACTIONS, HOTELS”? – (WHO, “THE HELP”) – With all the new development it will require more “FIRST RESPONDERS.” Your project will require more pay and more staff. – “DO YOU HAVE THAT LISTED AS IMPORTANT?”
FIRST RESPONDERS WILL REQUIRE MORE PAY AS THEY WILL HAVE MORE AREA TO COVER.
****WIERD SHIT KEEPS COMING OFF THE FAN****
1) “ELEVATE” can’t get into gear because of city obstacles, – TINY HOMES ARE NEEDED NOW.
2) $5 million dollar “B” is already fading out. Project creating a huge financial loss for some business owners.
3) Low end Hotels are off the (-UCKEN) chain. I believe they do more “PRICE GOUGING” than an “AIRLINES DURING CHRISTMAS” break. Every weekend the prices are “OUT -UCKEN RAGEOUS” – They need to be regulated and monitored.
Some of these shit holes have us locals take a “PISS” test. I know for a fact because Anita and I pissed for the camera.
****ON THE REAL CHECK****
If you come into Branson from the West Branson side where IHOP is located, drive down until you “SEE” a “HOTEL” hole that is so “OUT OF PLACE” that you can’t miss it, the shit color is unbearable. It is a (-UCKEN) eye “SORE,” “WHY IS THIS RUN DOWN ASS “BUILDING” STILL STANDING? – What is going on with Code Enforcement?
The location “I” am speaking of, represents more money than the “CITY” can imagine. That is the most “TRAVELLED” area in Branson. WHY ARE THOSE SHIT “HOLES” SITTING THERE?
If, and when you can talk with our youth, our teenagers, they will “HELP” you understand what type of “ATTRACTIONS” better suit their generation.
TIF calls for local taxing bodies to make a joint investment in the development or redevelopment of an area, with the intent that any short-term gains be reinvested and leveraged so that all taxing bodies will receive “LARGER FINANCIAL GAINS IN THE FUTURE.”
So, In closing some of us would like to know,
1) Who are the investors?
2) Can Branson’s “PO” working class folks “INVEST?”
3) What is the “MINIMUM” cost to invest?
4) Can a “LAYMAN” person such as myself invest?

AFTER ALL, IF I AM PAYING FOR IT IN TAXES, ONE WOULD THINK THAT WOULD MAKE “ME” AN “INVESTOR.” – SO, AS AN “INVESTOR” AND BECAUSE I PAY “TAXES,” I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY CUT OF THE “PIE.”
When the “CITY” pays its part of the money generated by taxes I and other “PO” working class folks have paid in, that would make us “INVESTORS” in “TIF.” – CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!

So, “ALDERMEN AND WOMEN” make sure that you remember those “DOWNTOWN” businesses who have lost dearly with this current project, the “TINY HOME” project, the FUTURE HOME OF BRANSON PD STATION. (IS THAT SHIT COMPLETED?), the homeless who are living in cars, in the woods, and Branson’s streets. Think about the high ass taxes and price gouging already going on. “THINK ABOUT IT.” – A SHELTER IS A MUST HAVE AND A BETTER FINANCIAL PACKAGE FOR OUR FIRST RESPONDERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES.
Ask yourself, are you willing to burden the taxpayer with higher taxes at this moment in time?
USE THE DEVELOPERS TO REMOVE AND REGENERATE SOMETHING MORE BENEFICIAL IN A BENEFICIAL AREA OF TOWN. –
THE “ENCLAVES” LOCATION IS PERFECT FOR THIS REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND INCLUDE PLATOS CAVE. – NOW YOU MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
