Because you asked
Some of you have asked the question as to the outcome of the case Outback Roadhouse Apt. filed against me. I am providing the link so that you can get a clear understanding of how things work. “THE CASE WAS VOLUNTARY DISMISSED” when I forwarded a “RESPONSE” filled with truth.
Nowhere did I ever mention “he-say, she-say” shit. All info was provided in black and white text messages. The audio is still in my possession. (VIEW OUR RESPONSE HERE)
Keep in mind, if I had not showed up in court that day, they would have won “EVERYTHING” they asked for plus more. Thousands of dollars. They also showed a desire to be paid for damages that did not exist.
Not “ONE” of these individuals showed up in court.
***CHECK THE GAME OUT***
I mentioned a “COUNTER CLAIM” in my “RESPONSE”, and I was in court that day, but in order to have that heard, I have to file it in “SMALL CLAIMS” court. I felt my case should had been heard and resolved at that time.
So, as you can see, they would have won if I did not show up in court. All it takes is just a little lie and “PO” folks pay the price. KEEP IN MIND, I AM GOING TO ALWAYS CALL OUT THE “BULLSHIT”.
The fact is that place will “NEVER” be considered a true “APARTMENT.”
City officials need to sit down and make a decision as to what makes a hotel an apartment. What they have done is totally ridiculous as they equipped this place with an oven that mimics “easy bake oven” and it comes with 2 eyes that are used for basic boiling and a mid-size fridge for $850.00 per month.
***Placing mailboxes on a property does not make it legal***
Do this, call a car company and try to get a loan with that address. It does not come up as a “RESIDENTIAL” building, therefore, you lose, and you are being lied to. Similar to Enclave. A mailbox does not make your place a legal apartment. People are being misled again.
***ZONING AND LAND USE RECLASSIFICATION***
The legal difference between a hotel and an apartment is the zoning code assigned by the city or county.
Hotels are zoned for commercial/transient lodging (short stays).
Apartments are zoned for residential/multifamily use (long-term living).
To convert a hotel into apartments, the property owner must:
1) Apply for “REZONING” or a special-use permit with the city’s Planning & Zoning Department. – (WAS THIS COMPLETED? – VERY IMPORTANT).
WOULD REZONING ALSO AFFECT THOSE BUSINESSES SITUATED ON THE “SAME” PROPERTY, WHAT WOULD THEIR STATUS BECOME?
2) Meet all building code and fire code standards for residential occupancy (which are stricter).
3) Pass inspections and obtain new certificates of occupancy designating the units as residential.
Until that process is complete, it is legally still a hotel — NO MATTER HOW LONG PEOPLE LIVE THERE.
***HERE’S THE RIPOFF***
You move in “WITHOUT” beds, stands, and tv. “YOU PROVIDE THAT YOURSELF.” So, being poor means you are losing when you move into the Outback Roadhouse Apts., simply due to the fact that now, you have to come up with a “BED AND BEDDING, DRESSER WITH DRAWERS, AND A TV.
If you can afford it, you will rent it from a “RENTAL” place for around $200 per month. That’s what Anita and I paid for those above-mentioned items. If not, sleep on the floor or a pad.
So, let’s do the math. $850.00 for a shell of a room, $25.00 to pay rent online, (=$300.00 per year) plus $200.00 to rent the furniture for this hotel hole. “A WHOPPING $1,075 is what Anita and I were paying, just to say, I live in a “SO-CALLED” apartment. (FAKE NEWS)
Fact is, this is only considered an apartment “ON PAPER.” It is truly a “HOTEL” and functions in that manner.
The manager is also the help. He keeps paperwork – BEST HE CAN, cleans apartments, takes out the trash, you get it. All the things “HELP” does.
It’s time that the city manager and aldermen take a “REAL” look at what is going on here in this low-end hotel game.
Right now, Anita and I live in a hotel that offers all the things Outback Roadhouse Apt. doesn’t. Including a 50″ tv, dresser for clothes, and 2 “BRAND NEW” queen size beds with “BEDDING IN A BOX”, as well as, a fully operational bathtub with shower, all for the “LOVELY” price of $800.00 per month.
